- Cyber Trend Data
- Pro Services
- Cyber KPI's
- Sign Up & Sign In
You can use your Perch account alongside HighGround to retrieve your SIEM IDS data. This data can then be used to drive your Cyber KPI's. In order to synchronise this data to your HighGround account, you will need to connect to Perch's API by first generating API credentials, and then integrating the tool via the Integrations module.
The following process is reasonably technical, so please have a member of your IT personnel complete this if you do not have any prior experience with API's.
STEP 1: Sign-In
Sign-in to your organisation's Perch console.
STEP 2: Select an organisation
MSPs/IT Management companies will need to select the organisation that they would like to synchronise data from.
To select an organisation, locate the organisation menu at the top of Perch:
Then, click the downwards arrow to access the drop-down menu, and select one of the following options:
STEP 3: Go to Integrations
Once you have selected an organisation, look to the bottom-left of Perch where the Settings menu resides. Click on Settings to expand the drop-down menu, and select Integrations:
STEP 4: Retrieve your Client ID & Client Secret
Once in Integrations, scroll down until you reach 'Perch API'. Click on this.
You should now see a window resembling the image below. You will need your Client ID and Client Secret (you do not need the Key) at a later step, so press the copy icon next to each and take a note of these values.
STEP 5: Integrate Perch to your HighGround Account
You can now use the API credentials retrieved in the previous step to integrate Perch to your HighGround account.
To start integrating Perch, you will need to go to the Integrations area of your HighGround account, and find Perch listed under SIEM IDS. Clicking on 'Connect Tool' will open a window resembling the image below for you to enter your API credentials:
Enter the Client ID and Client Secret you noted in the previous step into the relevant fields. Then, click Test Connection and continue with the process of integrating the tool.
