With HighGround, you can manage all of your invoices, payments and payment methods in the one place. Continue reading to get an overview.
Finding your Billing Information
To find your Billing information, go to System Settings:
And then navigate to the 'Billing' tab:
Here you can view and change anything related to your billing - including previous and upcoming payments, current subscriptions and payment methods.
Viewing your Billing Information
Once inside the Billing tab you can view your invoices, your active subscriptions, and your payment methods.
The Invoices area of the Billing window displays previous and upcoming payments associated with your account. These include on-off payments, and recurring payments for subscriptions.
Information in the Invoices area is represented in the following columns;
- Name: the name of the product/service that the payment was for.
Status: indicates whether the payment transaction has occurred.
- Successful: the transaction took place.
- Failed: the transaction did not take place, for example insufficient funds.
- Pending: the transaction is due to take place in the future, for example an upcoming subscription payment.
- Discount: any discounts that have been deducted from the payment, for example your Pro Services credits.
- Amount: the amount the payment was for.
You can also filter your invoices to show all invoices or specific invoice types by clicking on any of the service tabs.
Your current Subscriptions:
To the right of the invoices section, you can view your active subscriptions:
What you see here depends on what services you are currently subscribed to. We offer subscriptions to the following services:
- Freemium Plan
- Premium Plan
- Integration Packs
- Pro Services
If you are subscribed to any of these, you will see an overview of your payment amount, status and next payment date.
Below the active subscriptions, you can view your Payment Methods:
Any cards you have saved will be displayed here.
How do I Print an Invoice?
Locate the invoice you would like to print, and click the printer icon:Delete
How can I Add, Edit or Delete a Payment Method?
Add a payment method:
In the Payment Methods area of the billing tab, click the button + Add Payment Method:
This will open a new window for you to add the billing address attached to the card you would like to use for payment, along with the card information:
Edit a payment method:
This will open a new window where you can modify the card information and billing address attached to it:
You will see a window resembling the image above if you have successfully edited your payment method.
Remove a payment method:
If you do not have any active subscriptions associated with the card you wish to remove, you can simply click Remove to complete the process:
If you do have active subscriptions associated with the card you wish to remove, but you have alternate payment methods listed on your account, you will need to select one of these alternative methods before you remove the current card: If you have active subscriptions associated with the card you wish to remove and you do not have alternate payment methods listed on your account, you will be unable to remove the current payment card:Delete
How do I upgrade to a Premium Subscription?
Towards the top-right of the Billing tab, locate the section resembling the image below, and click Upgrade:
This will take you to the Subscriptions tab. Here you can click Upgrade under the plan type that you would like to upgrade to.
This will open a new window where you may either choose an existing Payment Method, or enter card details for a new Payment Method, before completing the purchase:
Once you have entered those details, click Upgrade to Premium to complete the process.Delete
How can I cancel a Premium Subscription?
Towards the top-right of the Billing tab, locate the section resembling the image below, and click Change Plan:
Clicking on Downgrade will open another window - you will need to click on the Downgrade button again to complete the process:Delete
How can I upgrade to a different Integration Pack?
Look to the Integrations Pack area of the Billing window, and click Change Pack:
This will take you to the Subscriptions tab.
Scroll down to Integration Packs section. To upgrade from your current pack, click the Buy button below the pack you would like to switch to:
This will open a new window where you can enter the payment details you would like to use before completing the purchase:
Please ensure you have entered the correct details, before clicking the Buy button to complete your Integration Pack upgade.Delete
How can I cancel or downgrade an Integration Pack?
In the Billing tab, locate the section resembling the image below and click Change Pack:
This will take you to the Subscriptions tab.Delete
