You can use your Trello account alongside HighGround to retrieve your Task Management data. This data can then be used to drive your Cyber KPI's. In order to synchronise this data to your HighGround account, you will need to connect to Atlassian's API by first generating API credentials, and then integrating the tool via the Integrations module.
The following process is reasonably technical, so please have a member of your IT personnel complete this if you do not have any prior experience with API's.
Please follow the steps below to generate API credentials for Trello, before moving onto our guide on How to Integrate a tool with your HighGround account.
STEP 1: Create an API token and Secret from your Trello account
Note
For security reasons it isn't possible to view the token secret after closing the creation dialog; if necessary, create a new API Key.
You should store the token secret securely, just as for any password.
Log in to your Trello account
3. Click New button
4. Fill the form and click Create
5. Once Power-Up created then it will display API Keys Screen, click on Generate a new API Key.
6. After click on Generate a new API Key, API Key and Secret will appear.
STEP 2: Integrate Trello to your HighGround Account
You can now use the API Key and Secret and URL retrieved in the previous steps to integrate the tool to your HighGround account.
To do so, you will need to go to the Integrations area of your HighGround account, and find the Trello tool under Task Management Tag. Clicking on 'Connect Tool' will open a window for you to enter the following details;
