You can use your Perimeter81 account alongside HighGround to retrieve your organization data. This data can then be used to drive your Cyber KPI's. In order to synchronise this data to your HighGround account, you will need to connect to Perimeter81's API by first generating API credentials, and then integrating the tool via the Integrations module.
The following process is reasonably technical, so please have a member of your IT personnel complete this if you do not have any prior experience with API's.
Please follow the steps below to generate API credentials for Perimeter81, before moving onto our guide on How to Integrate a tool with your HighGround account.
STEP 1: Login to Perimeter81
Note
Only active Perimeter81 Admin or Manager accounts can be used to generate API credentials, so please ensure that you login using a current admin account.
First, sign in to your Perimeter 81 Admin Console with either the Admin or Manager role.
STEP 2: Generate API Keys
From the main left sidebar menu, Navigate to Settings -> API Support:
At the top right corner, click +Generate New Key:
Enter the following details:
Key Name - Write a logical name to help you identify the Key later.
Expiration Date - Select a date for the Access Token to expire.
Key Permissions - Choose which Actions will be possible using this specific API Key.
Once you have created your key, click the eye icon (👁) to reveal the Key:
Once the key is revealed, copy it or use the clipboard icon.
Note
Make sure to securely store your API Key somewhere, as Cisco Meraki will only show you this once.
STEP 3: Integrate Perimeter81 to your HighGround Account
You can now use the API Key retrieved in the previous step to integrate the tool to your HighGround account.
To do so, you will need to go to the Integrations area of your HighGround account, and find the Perimeter81 tool under Patch Management Tag. Clicking on 'Connect Tool' will open a window for you to enter the following details;
