You can use your Barracuda account alongside HighGround to retrieve your Email Filtering data. This data can then be used to drive your Cyber KPI's. In order to synchronise this data to your HighGround account, you will need to connect to Barracuda's API by first generating API credentials, and then integrating the tool via the Integrations module.
The following process is reasonably technical, so please have a member of your IT personnel complete this if you do not have any prior experience with API's.
Please follow the steps below to generate API credentials for Barracuda, before moving onto our guide on How to Integrate a tool with your HighGround account.
STEP 1: Login to Barracuda Token Service
Note
Log into the Barracuda Token Service at Barracuda Cloud. If you are currently not logged into Barracuda Cloud Control (BCC), you will need to log in using your BCC user credentials before you are redirected to the Barracuda Token Service
STEP 2: Register Your New Application
Click the ADD APPLICATION button on the top right.
On the Add Application page, under the Application Details section, fill in the Application name. Under the Application Scope section, select the type of access you want for each available scope.
Click ADD APPLICATION to register your application.
From the main top-right user menu, click on your username Avatar, and then navigate to My API Key:
Once you click on Add Application it will generate app and will take you to the Application Details page:
Take a note of Client ID and Client Secret, as this will be needed later on :
STEP 3: Integrate Barracuda to your HighGround Account
You can now use the API Key retrieved in the previous step to integrate the tool to your HighGround account.
To do so, you will need to go to the Integrations area of your HighGround account, and find the Barracuda tool under Email Filtering Tag. Clicking on 'Connect Tool' will open a window for you to enter the following details;
