Info

The Risky Users KPI is shown in the CTO dashboard. HighGround utilises Role-Based Cyber Data (RBCD) to deliver you with the information that is most relevant to your role within the organisation.

It is increasingly difficult to stay on top of our cyber security risks and threats, and that is before we add our employees (aka users) into the equation. Without a doubt, users are the riskiest aspect of our organisation’s cyber security and the area which demands the greatest attention.

But far too often, organisations focus on a ‘cart-blanche’ approach to security, hoping that a widely cast net will take care of all eventualities, even though we know this isn’t true. Like water, if there is a way through our security defences, you can be sure a user will find it! And whilst we all have an idea who these users are, it is the ones we don’t think of that we really need to be worried about!

Risky Users in HighGround is a powerful KPI which combines data from various datasets to determine the probability of a user’s riskiness to the organisation based on real data. By pinpointing these users, we can focus our efforts not only on a organisation wife, cart-blanche approach to security, but also on a pinpoint accuracy focus on the users who are most likely to cause a security incident. It’s the best of both worlds!
