1.0 - Introduction

In this article, we’ll walk you through the storefront feature in HighGround from the perspective of your clients. As an MSP, you have the power to set up and manage a unique storefront showcasing all the products and services you offer. For your clients, the storefront acts as a digital "shop window" where they can browse and get a glimpse of what you provide. While they won’t have the ability to add products, change settings, or customize the look and feel like you do, the client view is designed to give them a smooth and straightforward experience as they explore your offerings.

2.0 - Access to Storefront

Your Storefront isn’t automatically visible to clients — you decide who gets access and at what level. When you invite a client into your HighGround account, you’ll assign them a client access role. This role determines:

  • Which modules they can access.

  • What level of visibility or permissions they have within those modules.

HighGround gives you flexibility here:

  • You can choose from our pre-defined client access roles (quick and easy).

  • Or, if your client has more specific requirements, you can create a custom role tailored to their needs.

This way, you’re always in control of what your clients can see — whether that’s full access to your Storefront or none at all.

To learn more about client access roles please read our Understanding Client access roles article.

3.0 - What your clients see in storefront

When your client logs into their HighGround account and clicks on the "Storefront" tab, they’ll be greeted by a display of all the products you’ve published. On the left side of their page, they’ll notice a helpful list of categories that makes finding specific products a breeze. This is designed to save them time and streamline their search.

At the top of the page, they’ll see the newest products you've published—these will be featured prominently. Below that, they'll find a complete list of all products currently available in your storefront.

Note: All categories you’ve added to your storefront are visible to clients, even if they don’t contain products. To learn more about your category visibility please read our Understanding Category Management article.

The product listings presented to your clients will show a clean and simple layout, displaying the product name, image, category, and starting price. For clients who want to dive deeper into a product, all they need to do is click on it. This will take them to a detailed product page, where they can explore a full description, as well as any images you’ve added during the product creation process.

4.0 - Requesting a product

Once your client finds a product they're interested in, they won’t be able to purchase it directly from the storefront. Instead, they’ll need to submit a request to you first.

From there, the full sales process is in the hands of the MSP.

To request a product, the client simply clicks the blue "Request" button on the product’s detail page. After clicking, they’ll be prompted to provide some key information to ensure you fully understand what they're asking for.

Here’s the information the client will need to provide:

  • Telephone: A contact number where the client can be reached for follow-up.

  • Date and Time: A preferred date and time for the MSP to call the client regarding the request.

  • Message: An optional field for any additional notes or details the client wants to include.

  • Pricing Option: The pricing plan the client prefers.

  • Quantity: The number of products the client needs.

At the bottom of the request form, the client will see a total price calculated based on the quantity and pricing option they’ve selected. Once everything looks good, they can hit "Send Request," and the request will be submitted directly to you. The request will then appear in the "Requests" section of your storefront, ready for you to follow up on.

To learn more about dealing with requests as an MSP please read our Product Requests article.

Note: Once a client submits a request the sales process is not done through HighGround - this will then need to be handed to your MSP's sales team.
