1.0 - Introduction
If your client has a premium license, you can offer them their own personal login to access their HighGround account. This feature empowers your client to actively participate in managing their cybersecurity, giving them the ability to oversee specific aspects of their protection. With their own dedicated login, they’ll have direct access to key features, helping them stay informed and engaged in the ongoing security of their environment. It's a great way to keep them involved and ensure they have the tools they need to contribute to their security strategy.
2.0 - Inviting your client
For your client to have the ability to have their own logon to HighGround they must first be invited by their MSP. For more information on giving a client an client access role please read our client access roles article.
To invite your client to have access to their HighGround account watch our instructional video or, alternatively follow the steps listed below.
Step 1: From your client's dashboard, click on the three dots located at the top-right corner of your screen.
Step 2: Select 'Add client user' from the dropdown menu.
Step 3: In the next screen, click on 'Client access' to proceed.
Step 4: This will open a window where you can invite a new user and assign an access role for their login.
Step 5: Enter the person’s email address and choose the appropriate access role you wish to assign to them.
Note: Make sure you click 'add' before inviting the person
Step 6: You can now click 'invite' and wait for your client to login.
3.0 - Completing sign up
Your client will now be sent an invite email to allow them to complete registration.
Once your client has successfully created their account and logged in, they will appear in the list of clients on your Client Access page.
