1.0 - Introduction

Every user of HighGround has their own personal profile which you can customize to your own preferences. This article explains how to manage your personal profile and any limitations you should be aware of.

2.0 - Managing your Personal Profile

To find your Personal profile on HighGround just click you profile picture at the top right hand side of your screen.

2.1 - Your personal profile settings

Click into your profile to view and manage the key details that make up your personal HighGround identity. This includes everything from your name and role to your access permissions and profile picture.

Here’s what you’ll find—and what you can do:

  • Name: Your full name as it appears across HighGround.

  • Email: Your registered email address. This is set during account creation and can’t be changed (so double-check it when you sign up!).

  • Position: Your job title or role within your company.

  • Access Roles: A handy overview of the access roles and permissions you’ve been assigned.

  • Certificates: Upload any cybersecurity certifications you’ve earned (or are working towards)—great for tracking personal development or showing off your creds.

  • Profile Picture: Add or update your photo to make your account a little more you. You can remove it anytime, too.

3.0 - Your permissions (Access role)

Your permissions in HighGround are controlled by your access role.

For clients this is controlled by your client access role.

For MSP members (employees) this is controlled by your member access role.

You will be unable to change your own access role unless you have been given the required access level.

You can preview your permissions in HighGround by using the preview access feature.

4.0 Resetting your password and MFA

Need to reset your MFA or update your password? No problem—you can do both right from your personal profile.

🔐 Reset Your MFA

If you’ve lost access to your authenticator app or just need to reset your multi-factor authentication (MFA), you can do that here too. Simply follow the prompts under the MFA section in your profile to reset and reconfigure your MFA setup.

🔑 Reset Your Password

Forgot your password or just want to update it? Here’s how:

Step 1: Click the Reset Password button in your profile

Step 2: Check your inbox for the reset email and click the link inside

Step 3: Choose your new password and hit Change Password

And that’s it—you’re back in action in under a minute.

5.0 - Deleting my account

If you select ‘Delete My Account’, your account will be permanently deleted—along with all associated data and settings.

🔒 This action cannot be undone, so please make sure you really want to proceed before confirming. Once it’s gone, it’s gone for good.
